Let’s not forget that before it was a summer action movie about aliens invading earth under ostensibly peaceful pretenses, losing their communications ship and battling a defunct World War 2 museum helmed by Tim Riggins and Rihanna, BATTLESHIP was a board game. Well guess what, America, it still is a board game….

Iron claw wrote, directed and produced this game tie-in spot for Hasbro and agency Uproar. We created all of the backgrounds save for a couple movie shots mixed in. The idea was to blend two worlds, one of the guys playing, the other of the film’s battle scenes.
